Within 30 Days
- All UNOPENED merchandise may be returned with a receipt for a full refund.
- Online Orders: 30 days will begin once the package has arrived.
No Returns After 30 Days | Holiday Items No Returns After 15 Days
No Returns on Christmas Items after Friday, December 14th, 2018.
Guidelines for Returns
- 7 day guarantee on pet and pond* fish. If deceased, must bring back in a plastic bag along with a water sample in another.
*Fish in new pond set-ups will not be guaranteed. We suggest feeder fish to establish new ponds.
- 14 day wellness guarantee on small animals. Rescues and take-ins are excluded.
- Varied based on manufacturer warranty.
5% Restocking Fee
- Will be applied to all returned assembled or floor model patio furniture, grills, fountains and statuary, etc. Open Christmas Tree boxes are also subject to the 5% stocking fee if purchased and returned by the Christmas return cut-off date.
We Do Not Accept Any Returns On:
- Gift Cards
- Annuals, Tropicals, and Seasonal Plants
- Cut or Opened Merchandise
- Items Damaged from Misuse
- Sanitary Items
- Special Orders
- Non-sealed Chemicals.
- Custom Arrangements and Home Décor
(7 day return policy with the original tag intact.)
- Clearance Merchandise - All clearance items are final sale, non-refundable.
Holiday & Christmas Items
- Christmas Décor becomes final sale after 15 days of purchase or after Friday, December 14th, 2018, whichever comes first.
- All Christmas Decor discounted 50% or higher is final sale.
- Christmas Décor with a Gift Receipt will be issued as In-Store Credit.
- Opened Christmas Lights may be exchanged or returned as In-Store Credit.
- Defective Christmas Lights will be exchanged for identical item only. If an identical item is unavailable, a store credit may be issued.
- Holiday price adjustments within 7 days of purchase will be issued as In-Store Credit.
Returns for Online Orders
Alsip processes returns within 1-2 business days. Once the refund has been issued it may take several day days for funds to arrive back to your account as detailed below:
Shipped Orders: Call the Alsip Home & Nursery location in which your order was placed to begin the return process.
- If Items Arrive Broken: Once the return is approved, a return shipping label will be emailed out to the customer. The transaction will be refunded upon package arrival to the store.
- If Change of Heart: The customer will be responsible to ship the package back, once approved. The transaction will be refunded upon package arrival to the store.
Paid by PayPal: For purchases made with your credit or debit card through PayPal, the refund can take up to 30 days to show up on your account. If you bought the item using your bank account or PayPal balance, the balance will be credited to your PayPal account. Funds can take 3-5 days to arrive in your account.
Paid by Credit: For purchases made using your credit or debit card directly through our shop.alsipnursery.com site, please give 3-5 days for funds to arrive on your account.
Returns by Tender
If Paid by Check:
- Returns paid by check require a 14 business day wait from the original date of purchase to receive cash back. An in-store credit will be issued at the time of return.
If Paid by Credit Card:
- Returns paid by credit card will be given credit back on same card used if shown original itemized receipt. This includes debit cards processed as credit. Please give 3-5 days for funds to arrive on your account.
If Paid by Debit Card
- Returns paid by debit card may receive cash back, if processed as debit. Please give 3-5 days for funds to arrive on your account.
If Paid by Gift Certificate or In-Store Credit:
- Returns paid by gift certificate or store credit will be issued an in-store credit only.
