Aloe is one of the easiest plants to grow indoors, which is great news for first time houseplant owners! It tends to be rather difficult to kill and does not require much maintenance!

Light
Aloe are happiest when growing in a bright, sunny spot in the home. A great place for Aloe would be anywhere in your home that has direct sunlight. South facing windows tend to be the best spot.
Water
Aloe are considered a no fuss houseplant since they require very little to thrive in the environment they’re in. In regards to watering, Aloe should be watered every 2 weeks, however when they are being watered they do require a heavier watering. A good way to tell if your Aloe plant needs to be watered is if the soil is totally dried out.
Fertilizing
Aloe plants usually don’t have a need to be fertilized, especially not in the colder months. You can fertilize your Aloe plant once a year, Spring time is usually the best time.
