Anthurium is a genus of about 1,000 species of flowering plants, the largest genus of the arum family, Araceae. Other common names include anthurium, tailflower, flamingo flower, and laceleaf. It’s usually grown as a houseplant in cooler areas and as a landscaping plants in USDA zones 10 or higher.
