Lucky Charm Family Scavenger Hunt
A Leprechaun is on the Loose at Alsip Home & Nursery!
A leprechaun has hidden clues to 14 “lucky charms” around Alsip Home & Nursery! Your group will need to uncover them all to complete our self-guided scavenger hunt in order to earn a prize at the end of the rainbow!
Registering for This Event
- Reservation required per participating child – limited to kids 12 & under.
- A $5 spot holding fee(s) guarantees your reservation, and will INSTANTLY be returned to you on an Alsip Home & Nursery E-Gift Card
- Each participating child receives:
- An activity booklet at the beginning of the hunt
- A goodie bag upon completing the hunt.
How The Scavenger Hunt Works
- Soon after completing your reservation you’ll receive three emails – one confirming your order, a second with your E-Gift Card, and another with your Event Ticket
- On March 14th you may arrive anytime between 10 AM and 2 PM – the scavenger hunt may take anywhere from 30-60 minutes depending on how quickly you wish to complete it/find the clues. We’ll be ending our scavenger hunt at 3 PM.
- Please check-in at the Service Desk with your Event Ticket(printed or on your phone) so we can verify your spot (Your E-Gift Card(s) are free to use in-store or online on whatever you like.)
- From there, each child will receive a Playcard and an Activity Booklet.
- Your Playcard holds the first clue, which will lead you to the 1st of 14 stations.
- You may now start your self-guided scavenger hunt and travel at your leisure.
- Travel around the store from one clue to the next collecting “Lucky Charm” stickers to fill out your Playcard.
- We’ve also included some puzzles and coloring stations along the way for you to enjoy as you please!
- After the 14th Lucky Charm is found return to the beginning to collect your Prize Goodie Bag!
- Feel free to take a photo at the “End of the Rainbow” and share it on social media with the hashtag #AlsipScavengerHunt
Scavenger Hunt Rules
- Open to Kids 12 & Under – All children must be supervised by an adult.
- Follow the clues throughout the store to find each item on the list.
- Some clues include riddles, crosswords, or worksheets to complete instead of spotting a specific item.
- Once you’ve spotted the item/completed the task, mark it off on your Playcard with the appropriate “Lucky Charm” sticker (Ex. If the clue has a leprechaun hat on it, mark that clue off with a leprechaun hat sticker to show that you’ve completed the challenge.)
- Try not to go out of order. If you happen to spot a lucky charm station, save it until it’s time!
- DO NOT run throughout the store.
- Once you’ve finished, bring your Playcard back to the beginning to claim your prize at the end of the rainbow! Feel free to post on Instagram with the #AlsipScavengerHunt
