Bearded Dragons make a wonderful pet for both beginners and advanced reptile keepers. 
Max Size 12-18 Inches (Half of which is all tail).
Life Span 3-10 Years with proper care.
Habitat
The adult should live in at least a 40-65 gallon breeder tank. One side of the tank should be used as a basking area with a heating pad, where as the other side should be a little cooler.
  • MAINTENANCE: Change water and remove feces daily. Thoroughly clean the tank at least once a week: set your Bearded Dragon aside in a secure tank. Scrub the tank and furnishings with a cleaning solution. Rinse thoroughly with water, remove the smell of bleach and add clean substrate.
  • SUBSTRATE: Calcium based sand for adult or decomposed granite.
  • LIGHTING: Provide needed UBV rays with a full spectrum fluorescent light for 10-12 hours a day.
  • TEMPERATURE: 100˚F on the warm end and 70˚F at the cool end. Use an incandescent light or a ceramic heater as a primary heat source
Diet Feed adult dragons 3-5 times a week; feed juveniles every day. Juveniles will eat more live food where adults will eat more vegetation.
Water Shallow water dish changed daily. Sometimes they do enjoy soaking.
Grooming Give dragon a light misting every other week to keep skin humidified and easy to shed, however tank should never be damp. Carefully clip toenails when too long.
