Adult anoles grow to be 5-8 inches long, both males and females. In captivity they can live about 7 years
Habitat
Being a smaller lizard than most of the geckos, an anole will be comfortable in a 10 gallon screen-top tank. We recommend the use of Eco Earth (made from coconut fiber) or Jungle Mix substrate for the bottom of the enclosure. They will benefit from live plants in their habitat as well. Humidity should be maintained at a moderate to high level. Misting daily helps achieve this, as well as providing adequate water for the anole to drink.
Diet
Anoles should be fed small crickets up to twice each week, or other live insects of appropriate size. Daily misting of the habitat will provide sufficient water.
