Flowering Annuals
Proven Winners
Proven Winners are superior performing plants for beds or containers. They have aggressive growth habits and most can tolerate frost. We have found them to be more colorful, faster growing, more versatile, and more vigorous then any other plants on the market today. In-season, we stock large quantities of over 100 varieties to easily meet most institutional customers’ orders.
Annual Flats
Bigger is better! Enjoy instant gratification with Alsip’s annual flats. Our flats have more than twice the soil volume for a more developed root system in our full size 32 cell flats compared to the “cheater” flats sold elsewhere. These larger plants root in, grow and flower faster to delight you and your guests. Alsip features more than 25 colors and combinations of Impatiens. We also carry a huge selection of wax begonias, petunias, vinca, salvias, and many other annuals from A to Z.
Zonal Geraniums
Alsip carries a great selection of zonal geraniums in a rainbow of the latest and greatest colors. They are available in sizes ranging from 4 ½-inch pots to 12-in. patio planters.
Alsip’s Famous Geranium Flats
Alsip’s Famous Geranium flats are ideal for large beds. They are famous because we have built up a loyal following of gardeners who can’t live with out their superior garden performance. They are grown in our full size 32 cell flats. The plants are well rooted to get them off to a fast start and a strong finish. They are available in all of the most popular colors.
Tropical Plants
Tropical flowering or foliage plants are excellent in containers at the entrance or other outside areas in summer. Our most popular flowering varieties, including Hibiscus and Mandevilla, come in rainbow of colors. We also offer several varieties of Palms and Ficus for the Florida foliage look.

Grasses
Grasses have become popular landscape plants because of their beautiful form. They come in many shapes, sizes, colors and textures to flourish in any landscape situation. They are extremely reliable performers year after year. Many varieties not only keep their beauty through the summer, but also have great winter appeal.
Shrub Roses
Another category of popular landscape plants are hardy shrub roses. They offer similar beauty of regular roses, without the heavy maintenance required.
Nursery Stock
We have acres of flowering shrubs, shade and ornamental trees, evergreens, vines and other landscape plants in season. If we don’t have it in stock, we can get it quickly from our vast network of the best growers in North America.
Flowering Bulbs
We carry the largest selection of spring flowering bulbs in the area. However, to assure our commercial customers needs are fulfilled, we recommend using our special order program. Create breathtaking beds of bold colors in early spring with Tulips and other varieties before it is time to plant annuals.
