Where Do Our Puppies Come From?

Alsip Home & Nursery is very careful to only buy puppies from sources that are licensed by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) or from local 'hobby' breeders that can be easily be visited. The USDA conducts regular inspections of these licensed establishments to ensure that the facilities are clean, healthy and not overcrowded, and that adequate health care is provided.

The health of our puppies and the satisfaction of our customers is paramount. Every Alsip Home & Nursery puppy comes with documentation that lists its parents, as well as its breeder’s name, address and USDA license number. Our primary goal is to provide every customer with the cutest and healthiest new member of the family as possible!

We are also licensed by the Department of Agriculture and subject to regular USDA inspections. The pet staffs at both Alsip Home & Nursery locations is full of animal lovers who are dedicated to the well being of very animal in our care. Our puppies are also examined and monitored by our contract veterinarians. We take loving care of all Alsip puppies to ensure that they make healthy transitions to their new homes and families.
