No Hassle One Year, 100% Plant Guarantee

Alsip Home & Nursery stands behind all of the Plant Material sold in our stores. We offer a One Year, 100% Guarantee for all Trees, Shrubs, Roses, Grasses and Perennials in which the manufacturer or grower tag states zone hardiness of zone 5 or below.

Annuals, Tropicals, and seasonal plants (Mums, Easter Lillies, Poinsettias, etc.) are excluded. Replacement plants are not warranteed.

I. If Planted by Customer

All guarantees are honored in the form of a one time replacement plant of the same variety and size. If  the particular plant in matching size container is not available, we will refund the full purchase price in the form of an Alsip gift card. Receipt must be presented, as well as proof of deceased plant. For example:  photo or physically bring it in. Plant must have been installed in the ground to be eligible for guarantee. Depending on the plant variety or seasonal conditions, Alsip Home & Nursery reserves the right to deny plant exchanges/refunds prior to May 15.  Any customer purchasing plant material with contractor pricing waives warranty. 

II. If Planting Contracted Through Alsip Home & Nursery

Guarantee will be honored in the form of a one time replacement plant in addition to a one time re-planting (see Nursery Dept. associate to schedule re-planting). If plant of same type and pot size is not in stock we will refund purchase price of plant only in the form of an Alsip gift card. Planting price will not be refunded if matching plant is not in stock.

III. Myke Plant Starter (Mycorhizzae) 5 year Guarantee for Trees and Shrubs (Three Years for Roses) With the purchase of Myke brand Mycorhizzae plant starter, we extend a 100% guarantee of 5 Years from the date of purchase (excludes Rhododendrons and Azaleas). Section II of guarantee also applies under these conditions.

Myke Plant Starter (Mycorhizzae) 3 year Guarantee for Perennials (Returns on Perennials accepted after May 15th) With the purchase of Myke brand Mycorhizzae plant starter, we extend a 100% guarantee of 3 Years from the date of purchase (Grasses and Butterfly Bush are considered perennials). Section II of guarantee also applies under these conditions. Note: All Myke products must be stored indoors or in a garage or basement above 32°F to maintain viability Receipt(s) for Myke products must be dated on or before the date of plant purchase within the same calendar year for both Perennial and Trees and Shrub Myke products and are required along with proof of the dead plant in the form of a picture or physical evidence. Sufficient amounts of Myke must be purchased to cover returned plant material.

Plant Material Return Policy:

There is a 7 day return policy on nursery stock and 24 hours on annuals and perennials if brought back in the same condition and original container as purchased with the original receipt per manager's approval.  All Returns, Even Garden Mart purchases must be taken to one of our two main store locations.
