Corn Snake Care

An adult corn snake can grow to be 4-6 feet in length and live, on average,  6-8 years, but in captivity can live to be up to 23 years old.

Habitat

Adult corn snakes need a cage at least the size of a 20-gallon long aquarium. 85° F is perfect, and room temperatures (low 70s) are fine for the cool end of the spectrum, or a nighttime temperature. The base of the cage should aspen tree shavings, Lizard Litter is a popular brand.

Diet

Feed baby corn snakes once every 5-7 days, and feed adult corn snakes once every 7-10 days.Feed them mice, live or frozen, and size according to the age/size of your snake. Provide a shallow, heavy bowl for water.
