The More You Know The More You Grow!
Summer is a time to relax and enjoy the garden, but Alsip Nursery knows all too well some of the frustrations their customers experience throughout this season. To help, we’ve planned a series of informational seminars:
10am - Summer Perennial Care
Perennials play the important role in the landscape of adding color and interest year after year. Learn tips and techniques for establishing and maintaining a successful perennial garden throughout the summer and into fall.
11am - Summer Annual Care
Loved for the dramatic punch of summer color they bring to the landscape, annual flowers present special care challenges with summer heat and drought conditions—especially when they’re planted in pots and containers. Learn proper care techniques, including planting, watering and pruning when necessary to promote new growth.
1pm - Summer Rose Care
Alsip’s own rose expert will discuss "Serious Fertilizing for Roses" along with other success factors to create and maintain a beautiful rose garden throughout the season.
2pm - Summer Lawn Care
